Check the limit for your purchased plan

Maximum Daily Loss is a fixed allowance calculated as a percentage of the challenge starting balance. The applicable percentage and your current status are shown for the plan you purchased and in your dashboard.

The allowance is not recalculated as a percentage of a later, higher balance. Do not rely on a percentage from another plan; verify the value for your purchased challenge.

How the allowance applies each day

The percentage can differ by plan: current one-phase plans show 3% and current two-phase plans show 5%. Always verify the percentage for your purchased challenge.

Under the Prop Trading Terms and Conditions, the challenge is failed if account equity drops by more than the applicable daily-loss allowance from the day’s starting balance at any point. The day’s starting balance resets at 5:00 pm ET. From that reset, account equity must not drop by more than the fixed daily-loss allowance calculated from the challenge starting balance.

Avoid assumptions near the limit

For example, if a challenge starts at $25,000 and its Maximum Daily Loss is 3%, the fixed daily-loss allowance is $750. The percentage is applied to the $25,000 challenge starting balance—not to a later balance after profits or losses.

Leave room for spread, commission, swap, slippage and fast market movement. At the 5:00 pm ET daily reset, check the new day’s starting balance and the limit shown in your dashboard before taking additional risk.
