Use the MarketMates tiered margin calculator to estimate margin using the standard leverage tiers for a product group.
Choose the product type and exposure
Select the product group that matches the instrument. For Forex, Gold and Silver, enter your combined open exposure in lots. For commodities, other metals, crypto, indices and stocks, enter the combined USD notional exposure.
Complete lot-based inputs
For lot-based products, enter the instrument's contract size per lot, current market price and the conversion rate into USD. These values determine the USD notional exposure used in each leverage tier.
Read the result
The result shows total notional exposure, estimated margin, effective leverage and the amount allocated to each progressive tier. Only the exposure inside each tier uses that tier's leverage.
